Overview

Catalyst Edge is a standalone, read-only MCP server that collects independent public-company evidence families concurrently and returns a compact, source-linked dossier with a documented deterministic score. It preserves exact provenance, typed missingness, correction lineage, source support, and data-quality reasons rather than hiding uncertainty behind an opaque model output.

The Problem

Market research agents need concise catalyst context, but aggregating SEC filings, issuer sources, and discovery feeds creates provenance, entity-resolution, licensing, freshness, and hallucination risks. A useful connector must make those limits inspectable and testable.

The Solution

Built stdio and streamable-HTTP MCP transports around direct SEC evidence, reviewed issuer feeds, out-of-band GDELT discovery, and bounded social attention. A local event graph, immutable claim/source records, strict entity registries, deterministic scoring, typed provider states, and offline evaluation corpora keep the output reproducible and reviewable.
